The Daniel J. Wilcox CAMP HOPE NJ is seeking energetic and compassionate volunteer camp counselors (ages 18 – 24 or 17 going into senior year of high school). The overnight camp will take place Monday, June 24 through June 28th at the Fairview Lake YMCA Camp.

Camp HOPE NJ helps children who have been impacted by trauma, such as domestic violence, find a pathway to HOPE through the life changing camping modality.  Camp HOPE involves team building activities, values-based programming, and engaging camp activities. One week can have an unbelievable impact on a child’s life in regards to self-esteem, emotional stability, and confidence.

The success of Camp HOPE-NJ is due in part to the fantastic volunteer camp counselors. Camp counselor responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervision of camper cabins, mentorship and support to campers, and proactively engaging in activities. Must be mature, show initiative and have leadership skills. A required training will be provided prior to camp.

If you know of anyone that would be a great fit to be a camp counselor with Camp HOPE – NJ please feel free to share the attached flyer and have them contact or call Amber at 973-267-7520 Ext. 251.
